My soul aches for the senseless killings in Seal Beach yesterday. My prayers go out to the families and friends of the 8 people who had their lives ripped from them.  It has really shaken our community. I just have no understanding of such things. The shooter even killed a man in his car outside of the salon. I am so sorry for those of you who are grieving.

It's October.  One of my favorite months. The other night  as we were driving back from an art walk, my husband and I noticed the moon in all of it's (well actually lesser since it was just a sliver) harvest moon glory.  It was setting over the buildings in downtown Long Beach and it had a blood orange hue to it.  Very eerie, yet electric at the same time.
